The following links and information may be helpful to our Senior residents or their caregivers:

Silver Alert a system similar to the Amber Alert System, which will provide for the rapid dissemination of information regarding missing seniors and other individuals over 18 years of age, who are suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other cognitive or intellectual impairments which place them at risk.

Project Lifesaver – a program designed to protect, and when necessary, quickly locate individuals with cognitive disorders who are prone to the life threatening behavior of wandering.

Senior Clubs – local groups of Seniors that meet at our Senior Center located at Stony Point Community Center, 19 Clubhouse Lane Stony Point, NY 10980, at Patriot Hills golf course.

Rockland County Office for the Aging – There are more than 65,000 people in Rockland County over the age of 60. We assist older residents & their families to get information about programs available to them. We provide a variety of programs either through our efforts or through partners. The programs are designed to maintain maximum independence in the home & provide employment & volunteer activities. Advocacy by & for the elderly is our prime activity.

Access and Functional Needs Registry – Rockland County has developed this registry for residents with limited mobility or special needs, which might impact a timely response during an emergency.
